In the wrong town For people with a hearing loss like mine, misunderstandings can sometimes occur and cause a lot of inconvenience.

Like one time when my children called me and asked me if I could come and get them in a nearby town. I don’t mind doing that when it’s late in the evening, but when I got there my children were nowhere to be found.

After having waited for a long time I asked someone to make a call to one of my children’s cell phone. By then, they had managed to get home by themselves. It turned out that they had been waiting in another town, which has a name very similar to where I had gone.
