Hearing loss resulted in poor marks in dictation I remember once when I had an exam in dictation.

The teachers at the school had been told about my hearing loss, but the teacher at this exam didn’t pay much regard to it. I asked him to stand still so that I could see his mouth, but he just walked up and down the floor and asked us to spell this word and that word.

There was no help or understanding to get from him, so it’s no wonder that I got poor marks.
