Completely-in-canal hearing aids (CIC)

The completely-in-canal hearing aid is the smallest model. It is placed deeply in the ear canal and is therefore barely visible.
Despite the small size of the com-pletely-in-canal hearing aid it contains the latest digital technology of exactly the same quality as the other hearing aid types. There is, however, no room for a telecoil.

The hearing aid’s placement deeply in the ear canal reduces problems with wind noise and enables the user to have unproblematic telephone conver-sations and to localise the direction of incoming sounds.

Using completely-in-canal hearing aids

Fully automatic without any manual volume control.

The hearing aid is provided with a small nylon extraction cord for easy removal of the hearing aid.

Red indicates a right-ear aid and blue a left-ear aid.

The battery is placed in the round holder in the battery cover, which also func-tions as an on-off switch.

The hearing aid whistles when it is turned on, which indicates that the hearing aid and the battery are working. Once the hearing aid is placed correctly in the ear canal, the feedback whistling stops.

The hearing aid is turned off when the battery drawer is opened. It is important not to force the battery drawer beyond the upright position.
