Testing the battery

Here you can read about how to test that your hearing aid battery works properly.

Widex has developed a special battery tester. Ask your hearing healthcare professional for more information. Please note that the tester only indicates whether the battery works or not, and not how much capacity remains.

Test the battery once it is in the hearing aid as follows:

Hold the hearing aid in your hand.

Turn the hearing aid on and set the program switch in position M (microphone is on).

Turn up the volume to the maximum level (if your hearing aid has a manual volume control).

If the hearing aid whistles or beeps, it is a sign that the battery works.
